I was given the title 'Crimes Against Humanity' and asked to design an informative Exhibiton stand along with promotional material. Many people chose to look at world war 2, but I wanted something that was more of a challenge. Something that was still a current event. I chose to look at the conflict between Israel and Palestine. As this is still a very 'touchy' subject, I had to approach it very carefully. My aim was to provide UNBIASED information. I didn't want to make any bold statements. I wanted to provide people with the facts so that they could make there own mind up about who was right or wrong. Here is a design for a bus stop poster. The theme for my advertising was to do with differences in opinion (as I didn't wantto take one side). I wanted to show how diverse the opinions on the subject were. I wanted to ask a question, provoke thought in the hope this would intregue the viewer to find out more.
I didn't want the posters to look clean cut, so i decided to make them stand out they would be 'screwed' or 'crinkled up' within the container of the poster. I wanted a more distressed look. I have tried to demonstrate this the image I have submitted.
Great design, and highly topical content as well. Your point about cultural presumptions is particularly valid: as far as I can see that is the underlying cause of all these problems throughout the Middle East.
Nice job

Now there is next to no traffic on the river, which is largely silted up. At best one might see a sailing boat or two moored in the lower reaches amidst an assortment of rotting barges. To landward, there is nothing but grey water, mudflats and emptiness.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
